Requalification of auxiliary circuits, design and construction of a new lifting skid compliant with the DNV 2.7-1 directive for offshore use. Adaptation for use in classified zones and issuance of CE-PED certification.
The project involved a complete refurbishment and re-engineering intervention of a high-pressure (10K psi) triplex pumping unit, with the goal of restoring its operational performance and adapting it to the latest regulatory and safety standards for offshore applications.
Activities
The intervention allowed extending the unit’s lifecycle, improving its operational reliability, and ensuring its full compliance with international standards applicable to the Offshore Oil & Gas sector.
- Total refurbishment of main mechanical components: engine, pump, and transmission system
- Overhaul and requalification of all auxiliary circuits
- Structural re-engineering and design of a new lifting skid
- Construction of the skid in compliance with the DNV 2.7-1 directive for offshore use
