The A60 Positive Pressure Explosion Proof Laboratory Container is a purpose-built offshore laboratory unit designed for safe operation in hazardous environments where explosive atmospheres may occur. The container is engineered to provide a controlled and protected workspace suitable for laboratory testing, sampling, and analytical activities in oil & gas and marine applications. Constructed with an A60 fire-rated structure, the unit ensures up to 60 minutes of fire integrity, meeting offshore fire protection requirements for critical areas.
The container is equipped with a positive pressurization system that maintains a stable overpressure inside the laboratory, preventing the ingress of flammable gases and ensuring safe operation of internal instrumentation and utilities. The laboratory container is fitted with a certified explosion-proof electrical system, including lighting, switches, and distribution components suitable for hazardous areas. Integrated HVAC and filtration provide stable internal environmental conditions, supporting continuous operation and personnel comfort, while maintaining pressurization performance.
For operational safety, the unit includes gas detection, alarm and shutdown logic, emergency ventilation functions, and dedicated emergency lighting. The internal layout can be configured to accommodate laboratory benches, sample preparation areas, storage cabinets, and analytical equipment, in compliance with offshore safety and ergonomics standards.
