Tank manufactured from first-choice carbon steel S235JR in accordance with EN10025/93, thickness 3.0 mm, with a horizontal cylindrical axis on support saddles. 400 mm diameter manway with bolts and gasket; lockable 3″ filling connection; 90% overfill prevention valve; 1″1/2 vent with flame-arrester mesh; mechanical dial-type level gauge. In the lower part of the tank there is a drain plug for scheduled periodic cleaning.
The suction pipe is raised to allow proper diesel settling, and is fitted with a check valve and filter. The tank is pre-treated with two coats of epoxy primer and subsequently painted with two coats of glossy two-component polyurethane topcoat.
