G&G DESMAC has expanded its rental fleet with a new 3-1/8” – 5,000 psi skid-mounted choke manifold, now available for deployment on international projects. The new unit is fully tested, certified and ready for mobilisation from the company’s operations base in Ortona, Italy.

Designed for sour service and demanding environments
The manifold is compliant with API 6A – PSL 3, the highest product specification level under the standard, and built with materials in accordance with NACE MR-01-75 for sour service. This makes the unit suitable for operations in H₂S environments, a critical requirement in several of the markets where G&G DESMAC operates, including the Middle East, the Caspian Region and parts of North Africa.
Technical configuration
The unit is designed for flow rate control and backpressure management during well test and production operations. Key features include:
- 5-valve configuration with bypass, equipped with five 3-1/8” 5K manual gate valves for line selection and section isolation
- Dual-choke system: one manually adjustable choke and one positive choke, with a maximum orifice of 2”
- Working pressure of 5,000 psi (345 bar), with a design temperature range of -20°F to 250°F
- Class DD material (60K/75K MYS), suitable for high-pressure sour applications
- Full instrumentation package, including pressure gauges rated up to 10,000 psi and needle valves
- 3” 1502 hammer union adapters (male/female) for quick line connection, and 3-1/8” 5K API flanges
- Skid assembly with lifting lugs and forklift pockets for fast mobilisation
A complete set of flow beans is supplied with the unit.
